Defensive Roster

The Chicago Bears' defense in the 2024 season has shown strong improvements in key areas. This makes sense given the large investments with multiple early round picks, large contracts for veterans and overall top 5 spending on the defense in the NFL. The talent should remain even with a coaching change.

The Bears' scoring defense allows just 17 points per game, making them one of the top units in limiting points scored against them. Additionally, their red zone defense is exceptional, ranking first with a touchdown rate of only 36.8%, which demonstrates their ability to clamp down when it matters most. Their performance on third downs is also impressive, as they allow conversions on only 32.3% of attempts, placing them among the league’s most effective third-down defenses.

Overall, the Bears have significantly enhanced their defensive capabilities in 2024, particularly in high-leverage situations like the red zone and third down, contributing to a defensive resurgence this season.

Defensive Roster

The Chicago Bears' offense boasts a stellar lineup of versatile playmakers, most under contract for the foreesable future.

D.J. Moore’s speed and big-play ability make him a deep and run after the catch threat who can break open games, while Keenan Allen’s veteran presence adds reliable hands and route-running mastery.

Tight end Cole Kmet is a red-zone and intermediate target powerhouse, consistently delivering tough catches and helping move the chains. He has emerged as one of the best all around TE in the NFL.

Rookie Rome Odunze brings fresh energy and athleticism, and running back D’Andre Swift provides a dual threat, breaking defenses both on the ground and through the air.

This dynamic mix of talent gives the Bears' offense a balanced and explosive edge, with playmakers ready to shine at every level of the field.
